August 2019: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Boeing Employees Credit Union for allegedly misleadingly representing that it charges only one overdraft fee on a single transaction when, according to plaintiffs, it regularly charges multiple fees. Plaintiffs also claim that the credit union assesses overdraft fees on transactions that do not actually overdraw accounts. (Barrera et al v. Boeing Employees Credit Union, Case No. 19-cv-1197, W. D. WA.)
