September 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Blue Buffalo for allegedly misleadingly representing that its pet food products do not contain chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn or soy proteins, and artificial preservatives when the pet food actually contains these ingredients. (Jacobs et al v. Blue Buffalo Pet Products, Inc., Case No. 15-cv-13417, D. MA.)
