A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against BevMo! for allegedly engaging in a bait and switch scheme by advertising certain wines as having high ratings when, in reality, the wines being sold are from different vintages and therefore do not have the same rating as those advertised. (Liang et al v. Bevmo!, Case No. BC567785, Superior Court of California – County of Los Angeles)
