Behr Paint & Primer In One Products
In March 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Behr Process Corporation for allegedly falsely marketing that its Paint & Primer In One products contain both paint and primer, that consumers do not need to prime surfaces before painting them, and that the products cover surfaces in one coat when, according to plaintiffs, the products do not adequately cover surfaces that have not been primed first and they do not cover the surface in one coat. (Gurkov et al v. Behr Process Corp., Case No. 19-cv-1383, E. D. NY.)
