Complaint alleges IML was a $1.2 billion scam.
In November 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Beanfields for allegedly misleadingly marketing Beanfields® Bean Chips as being “packed with protein & fiber” when, according to plaintiffs, the chips are not high in either protein or fiber. The complaint also claims that the product packaging violates federal regulations by omitting the percent daily value of protein, falsely stating the percent daily value for fiber, and omitting required disclosures about the total fat in the chips.
