Multiple class-action lawsuits were filed against Audi alleging that the auto company makes false representations about the amount of carbon dioxide emission for several Audi models. According to the plaintiffs, Audi vehicles – including the A6, A8, Q5, and Q7 models – were equipped with a “defeat device” designed to limit emissions when the vehicle is being tested but not during regular use.
