January 2017: A federal judge stayed the action in this case pending approval of a settlement in a similar lawsuit, Townsend v. Blue Diamond Growers (Case No. CV-14-958-4, Circuit Court of Washington County, Arkansas).
May 2015: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Blue Diamond Growers and WWF Operating Company for allegedly deceptively labeling Almond Breeze and Silk almond milk products. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the companies misrepresent that almond milk products contain and are primarily made from almonds when, in reality, almonds only make up 2% of their content.
