November 2015: Plaintiffs moved for preliminary approval of a settlement of this lawsuit. According to the settlement terms, class members may receive either a $20 promotional code to be used toward the purchase of any AG product or one pair of AG pants for each product purchased. In addition, the company agreed to revise the country of origin labels on its apparel.
June 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against AG Adriano Goldschmied (a manufacturer of denim jean products) and Nordstrom (a retailer that sells AG products) for allegedly mislabeling apparel as “Made in the USA” when parts of the apparel – including the fabric, thread, and buttons – are actually manufactured outside of the United States.
