Another TINA.org reader flags another opportunistic bracelet seller seeking to cash in on the charity of others.
Kids Wish Network claims that it is “dedicated to infusing hope, creating happy memories, and improving the quality of life for children who are experiencing life-altering situations.” But according to the Tampa Bay Times,
Sick children wind up with less than 3 cents of every dollar raised.
The charity has funneled “$110 million dollars donated to sick children to its corporate fundraisers.” The Tampa Bay Times in 2013 ranked Kids Wish as the worst charity in America.
