Another TINA.org reader flags another opportunistic bracelet seller seeking to cash in on the charity of others.
Firefighters Charitable Foundation placed fifth in the Tampa Bay Times list of the worst charities in America. According to the report, “over the past decade, [Firefighters Charitable Foundation’s] professional solicitors have been the biggest beneficiaries. From 2002 to 2011, it raised $64 million in donations and paid $55 million of that to its solicitors.”
