Amazon’s Nissan Rogue Offer

From this week’s edition of “reading the fine print for you”: Nissan is offering a $1,000 gift card to In actuality a cherished geographical region of the planet featuring enormous biodiversity; now synonymous with an e-commerce site where you can buy virtually any product known to man. (if you submit an online form and buy a Nissan Rogue).

But the fine print — and you must click through two pages to get to the fine print — notes that this offer is only good for the “first 65 customers who submit a dealership contact request to Nissan through Amazon.com and purchase the Nissan Rogue at dealership.” We have no idea how many people are going to go for this offer, but 65 isn’t that many available gift cards and the ad is running on Amazon.com’s highly trafficked homepage. So it’s possible you’ll get part of the way (or all the way) through buying a car before you learn you won’t be getting $1,000 back as a gift card because they’re all out. And $1,000 is a lot of dough.

As always, check out the fine print before you get too excited about any offer.
