Lawsuits throw the red flag on a number of DFS platforms.
A rash of lawsuits allege companies are misleading consumers.
Allegations: Failing to disclose that products contain the carcinogen benzene
Allegations: Misrepresenting that it protects patients’ personal information when it failed to do so and there was a data breach in 2023
Allegations: Falsely representing that products eliminate the COVID-19 virus and produce cleaner air, and that claims are based on independent testing
Allegations: Misleadingly marketing products as “collagen” when they don’t contain any collagen but rather a fake imitation of collagen derived from plants
Allegations: Misrepresenting that it protects tenants’ personal information when it failed to do so and there was a data breach in 2022
