Kardashian/Jenner Database
Between 2016 and 2017, a TINA.org continuing investigation cataloged over 300 instances (100+ in 2016 and 200+ in 2017) in which members of the Kardashian/Jenner family created and published social media posts promoting various companies without clearly and conspicuously disclosing that they have a material connection with those companies or that the posts are ads, as is required by federal law.
The 2016 examples catalogued by TINA.org are each featured next to posts from the Instagram accounts of the various companies at issue to show the relationship between the companies and the members of the Kardashian/Jenner family. These examples were collected by TINA.org between June 2016 and August 2016.
The 2017 examples catalogued by TINA.org are from Instagram, as well as Facebook and Snapchat, and were published by the Kardashian/Jenner women after they were made aware of social media disclosure issues in August 2016.
