March 2020: This case was transferred from a court in New York to a court in Texas. (Case No. 20-cv-326, W.D. Tex.)
November 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Yeti Coolers for allegedly falsely advertising that the “Load-and-Lock Gasket” technology used in Yeti Rambler Colster coolers holds drinks securely and that cans and bottles fit in the coolers “like a glove” when, according to the plaintiffs, the coolers do not hold drinks securely and they slip out of the coolers when consumers try to drink from them. (Plaintiffs filed an amended complaint in April 2019.) (Peroutka et al v. Yeti Coolers, LLC, Case No. 18-cv-6827, E. D. NY.)
