Welch’s Grape Juices

In July 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Welch Foods for allegedly failing to warn consumers that its Welch’s White Grape Juice and Concord Grape Juice contain high amounts of lead and arsenic that are unsafe to consumers. Later in July, the named plaintiff voluntarily dismissed the action When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled., the reasons for which have not been disclosed. (Labajo et al v. Welch Foods Inc., Case No. 19-cv-1306, C. D. CA.)
