May 2016: This action was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled.. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.
February 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Wayfair for allegedly misrepresenting the existence, nature, and amount of discounts. According to the complaint, the “original” prices were fabricated and were not the prevailing market price within the three months immediately before the advertisement, as required by California law. (Carson et al v. Wayfair, Inc., Case No. 16-cv-716, C. D. CA.)
