December 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Candela Corp. for allegedly misrepresenting that patients who use the Ultra Shape System would “lose two dress sizes in just three treatments” and that “clinical studies showed an average 3.3-6.3 cm reduction” when, according to the plaintiffs, patients do not obtain the promised results.
