A class-action lawsuit was filed against Toys ‘R’ Us, Inc. in November 2012 claiming the company engaged in a bait-and-switch scheme that lured in online shoppers by offering valuable free gifts but then provided gifts of lesser value, like mini Lego Christmas trees, or nothing at all.
