Specifically, the complaint alleges that the company represents that the external hard drives with Thunderbolt I/O interface perform at “shocking speeds up to 10 Gb/s” when, according to plaintiffs, the Thunderbolt drives cannot reach such speeds. (Dash et al v. Seagate Technology (US) Holdings, Inc., Case No. 13-cv-06329, E.D.N.Y.).
