In January 2013, a class-action lawsuit was filed against San Francisco solar energy company SunRun Inc. The lawsuit alleges that the company made deceptive claims about the increasing costs of electricity and the costs savings associated with using their solar panels. (Shawn Reed v. SunRun Inc., Case No. BC498002)
