Stew Leonard’s Red Snapper and Sockeye Salmon Products

In December 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Stew Leonard’s for allegedly falsely labeling fish products as being red snapper and sockeye salmon when they are not. According to the plaintiffs, the fish in the products is allegedly “less healthy and less environmentally friendly.” (Franklin et al v. Stew Leonard’s Inc., Case No. 18-cv-7237, E.D.N.Y.)
