Sonos CR100 Controllers

July 2019: This state court case was transferred to federal court. (Steiner et al v. Sonos, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-6289, C. D. CA.)

June 2019: The same named plaintiff filed another lawsuit in a California state court similarly alleging that Sonos, Inc. failed to tell consumers that an update to the software for its CR100 controllers would make them stop connecting to personal sound devices and inoperable. (Steiner et al v. Sonos, Inc., Case No. 19STCV21795, California State Court – Los Angeles)

May 2019: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Sonos, Inc. for allegedly failing to tell consumers that an update to the software for its CR100 Controllers would make them inoperable. (Steiner et al v. Sonos, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-4719, C. D. CA.)
