In March 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Danone US, Inc. for allegedly deceptively marketing So Delicious Coconut Milk as healthful when, according to plaintiffs, the drink contains a substantial amount of saturated fat, which increases the risk of serious diseases, including heart disease and stroke. (Andrade-Heymsfield et al v. Danone US, Inc., Case No. 19-cv-589, S. D. CA.)
