In January 2017, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Riddell/All American for allegedly deceptively representing that its helmets protect players from head trauma, repetitive head impacts, and concussions when such claims are false. According to the complaint, the company fails to warn consumers about the risks associated with wearing its helmets. (Adams et al v.
