Rebate Promotions at Menards Stores

March 2021: The case was voluntarily dismissed.

February 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Menard, Inc. for allegedly misleadingly marketing that customers save “11% Off Everything” with its storewide rebate promotion when, according to plaintiffs, customers do not receive the promised savings. According to the complaint, the retailer regularly denies rebates, or pays only a portion of the promised 11 percent to customers who follow the rebate process. (Childers et al v. Menard, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-107, W.D. Wis.)
