July 2015: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against Publix Super Markets for allegedly falsely marketing several flavors of Publix Toaster Pastries, including strawberry, frosted strawberry, blueberry, frosted blueberry, frosted cherry, and frosted wildberry. Specifically, the complaint alleges that the pastries are marketed as being “Made with Real Fruit” when, in reality, they do not contain any real fruit. (Jackson et al v. Publix Super Markets Inc., Case No. 15-cv-1113, M. D. FL.)
