September and October 2016:
Three class-action lawsuits were filed against Publix Super Markets, Inc. for allegedly falsely marketing its “100% Real Grated Romano Parmesan Cheese” and “100% Real Grated Parmesan Cheese” as containing “100% Real” grated parmesan cheese when, according to plaintiffs, they actually contain significant amounts of fillers, such as cellulose (which is usually derived from wood pulp).
