Pro Teeth Dental Products with Activated Charcoal
In June 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Pro Teeth Whitening Co. for allegedly falsely advertising Pro Teeth dental products with activated charcoal – including powders, whitening strips, mouthwash, toothpaste, and gel – as safe to use and providing various oral health benefits, such as teeth whitening, toxin and stain protection, and teeth and enamel strengthening, when, according to the complaint, the company does not have the required scientific evidence to support such claims. (Roussel et al v. Pro Teeth Whitening Co. LTD., Case No. 20-cv-277, D.R.I.)
