In September 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Polar Beverages Co. for allegedly misleadingly marketing that its Polar Seltzer beverages are “100% Natural” when, according to the complaint, the beverages contain up to 96% synthetic ingredients. (McNulty et al v. Polar Beverages Co., Inc., Case No. 19-cv-8903, S. D. NY.)
