In April 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against E.T. Browne Drug Company for allegedly falsely marketing that Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula products for stretch marks – including massage lotion, tummy butter, and massage cream – “help[] reduce the appearance of stretch marks” when, according to the complaint, scientific evidence shows the products do not provide the advertised benefits.
