Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula for Stretch Marks

In April 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against E.T. Browne Drug Company for allegedly falsely marketing that Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula products for stretch marks – including massage lotion, tummy butter, and massage cream – “help[] reduce the appearance of stretch marks” when, according to the complaint, scientific evidence shows the products do not provide the advertised benefits. (Booker et al v. E.T. Browne Drug Co., Inc., Case No. 20-cv-3166, S.D.N.Y.)
