Pacific Foods Vanilla Almond Plant-Based Beverage
In December 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Pacific Foods for allegedly misleadingly marketing that its almond plant-based beverage is flavored with vanilla when, according to plaintiffs, the ingredients list shows that the product contains unspecified “natural flavor” in addition to “vanilla extract.” (Nelles et al v. Pacific Foods of Oregon, LLC, Case No. 19-cv-11025, S. D. NY.)
