Overdraft Fees at Digital Federal Credit Union

In March 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Digital Federal Credit Union for allegedly misleadingly promising to charge only one non-sufficient funds fee on a single transaction when, according to the complaint, the credit union charges multiple fees on a single transaction if it resubmits the transaction for payment and there is not enough money in the account. (Campbell et al v. Digital Federal Credit Union, Case No. 19-cv-10389, D. Mass.)
