February 2019: A state court judge granted final approval of a settlement agreement that provides class members with cash payments or account credits. According to the terms, the $222,000 settlement fund will be divided equally among class members after attorneys’ fees, administrative expenses, and other costs are paid.
August 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Bank of the West for allegedly misrepresenting that the bank does not charge overdraft fees on non-recurring debit card transactions when, according to plaintiffs, the bank charges overdraft fees on non-recurring transactions for purchases of rides from the ride-sharing companies Uber and Lyft.
