Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola Sodas
In October 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Coca-Cola for allegedly falsely marketing that vanilla is one of the flavoring ingredients in Orange Vanilla Coca-Cola sodas when, according to plaintiffs, the marketing does not disclose that almost all of the vanilla flavor in the drink comes from the artificial flavor vanillin. (Brienza et al v. The Coca-Cola Company, Case No. 20-cv-8676, S.D.N.Y.)
