April 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Rachael Ray Nutrish for allegedly misleadingly marketing Nutrish Zero Grain dog food as “wholesome,” “high-quality,” and “safe” when, according to plaintiffs, the dog food does not contain basic nutrients that are essential to a dog’s health. (Cohen et al v. Ainsworth Pet Nutrition LLC and The J.M. Smucker Company, Case No. 20-ST-CV-16789, California State Court – Los Angeles)
