In November 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against La Lechonera Products for allegedly misleadingly claiming that Natural Mojo Marinades are “All Natural” and contain “No Preservatives” when, according to plaintiffs, the marinades contain synthetic, artificial, and genetically modified ingredients, as well as preservatives. (Williams et al v. La Lechonera Products, Inc., Case No. 2018-39361, Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida)
