November 2018: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and Mott’s for allegedly falsely advertising several varieties of apple sauces and apple juices – including Mott’s Natural Unsweetened Applesauce, Mott’s Healthy Harvest Applesauce, and Mott’s Natural 100% Juice Apple Juice – as being natural when, according to plaintiffs, the products contain a synthetic chemical called acetamiprid.
