February 2019: A state court judge granted preliminary approval of a settlement agreement that would provide full cash refunds to class members with proof of purchase, with a maximum award of $100 per household. Class members without proof of purchase may also receive a cash refund for products purchased but the size of their awards depends on the size of the bag purchased and their total award is limited to $12 per household. A final fairness hearing is scheduled for June 14, 2019.
2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against the marketers of Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky and Chicken Grillers Home-Style dog treats for allegedly misleadingly marketing the treats as “wholesome” and “quality” products when, according to the complaint, the treats were made with substandard ingredients and potentially harmful contaminants.
