FTC Sues LA Fitness for Making Consumers Sweat Gym Memberships
Complaint alleges gym chain puts up roadblocks to cancellation.
In August 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Indochino Apparel for allegedly deceptively advertising sales on men’s clothing – including made-to-measure suits, tuxedos, blazers, vests, and pants – by comparing a “sale” price to a false reference price. According to the complaint, the clothing is regularly sold at the sale price and rarely, if ever, sold at the reference price. (Freeman et al v.
