In August 2019, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Indochino Apparel for allegedly deceptively advertising sales on men’s clothing – including made-to-measure suits, tuxedos, blazers, vests, and pants – by comparing a “sale” price to a false reference price. According to the complaint, the clothing is regularly sold at the sale price and rarely, if ever, sold at the reference price. (Freeman et al v. Indochino Apparel, Inc. and Indochino Apparel (US), Inc., Case No. 19-cv-4539, N. D. CA.)
