In August 2018, the alleged victims of a fraudulent investment scheme filed a class-action lawsuit alleging that the orchestrators of the scheme make investors believe that they’re investing in a mobile business solutions company (MDO, LLC) when, according to plaintiffs, the money was misappropriated and used to fund the lifestyle of the orchestrators, including chartered flights, a dairy cow farm, and a movie production.
