January 2014: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Linens ‘n Things for allegedly falsely marketing many of its textile products – including bedding, towels, and sheets – on its website. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that the company misleadingly represents products are made from bamboo when, according to the complaint, they are made from bamboo derivatives such as rayon.
