2018: A false advertising class-action lawsuit was filed against FCA US LLC regarding its Lifetime Limited Powertrain Warranties for a majority of their vehicles. The complaint, which was filed in September 2018 and amended in October 2018, alleges that the company fails to disclose that the warranty is subject to an inspection requirement and is void if vehicles are not inspected every five years within a specific period of time.
