April 2017: This case was voluntarily dismissed When a complaint is dismissed with prejudice, it cannot be refiled. as to the named plaintiffs and When a complaint is dismissed without prejudice, an amended version of the complaint can be refiled. as to the class members. The reasons for the dismissal have not been disclosed.

November 2016: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (and amended in December 2016) for allegedly falsely representing that donuts and donut holes contain ingredients that they do not. Specifically, plaintiffs claim that Krispy Kreme’s “Chocolate Iced Raspberry Filled” and “Glazed Raspberry Filled” donuts do not contain any raspberries, its “Maple Iced Glazed” and “Maple Bar” donuts do not contain maple sugar or maple syrup, and its “Glazed Blueberry Cake” donut and donut holes do not contain any blueberries.
