In April 2014, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit against Kind, LLC. The complaint, which was originally filed in February 2014, alleged that the company misleadingly advertises Kind® Plus snack bars as “all natural” when they actually contain artificial ingredients. The judge dismissed the complaint because the plaintiff failed to file an amended complaint fixing the problems in the original complaint, as required by a court order. (Bruce et al v. Kind, LLC, Case No. 14-cv-01424, C. D. CA.).
