May 2020: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Vilore Foods Company for allegedly falsely advertising Kern’s juices – including Guava Nectar, Apricot Nectar, and Peach Nectar – as being flavored with natural ingredients when, according to plaintiffs, the company does not disclose that the drinks contain artificial flavors. (Gross et al v. Vilore Foods Company, Inc., Case No. 20-cv-894, S.D. Cal.)
