In September 2014, a class-action lawsuit was filed against It’s Just Lunch! for allegedly claiming to be “the world’s #1 personalized matchmaking service” when it actually delivers unsuitable matches, including matches with married people. According to the complaint, the service also claims it provides “personalized matchmaking & dating services” when, in reality, it chooses matches randomly. (Dunphy et al v.
