October 2017: A class-action lawsuit was filed against Jeunesse, a Florida-based skin care and supplement multilevel marketing company, along with its founders, a top executive, and various high-level distributors, alleging that the company operates an illegal pyramid scheme. The complaint includes claims of money laundering, tax evasion, and forced uncompensated work, among other things, but its main allegation is that defendants “intentionally and systemically concealed the necessary information regarding Defendants’ false advertisement[s], false financial disclosures, [and] false income claims” to recruit and keep plaintiffs in the scheme.
