Iberia Premium Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil
In October 2018, a class-action lawsuit was filed against Iberia Foods for allegedly misleadingly marketing Iberia Premium Blend Extra Virgin Olive Oil as an extra virgin olive oil when, according to plaintiffs, the product is only 20% extra virgin olive oil and 80% refined sunflower oil, which the company does not adequately disclose. (Okoe et al v. Iberia Foods Corp., Case No. 18-cv-9161, S.D.N.Y.)
