In December 2020, a class-action lawsuit was filed against the multi-level marketing company Total Life Changes for allegedly falsely marketing that its Iaso Instant Tea with Broad-Spectrum Hemp Extract contains “0.0% THC” when, according to plaintiffs, the product does contain THC. (Santiago et al v. Total Life Changes LLC, Case No. 20-cv-18581, D.N.J.)
